Mojo Monday
This was the sketch for the Mojo Monday fun. Here is my version using the Avonlea papers from CTMH.
I inked the edges in Slate ink. I used the Cricut Art Philosophy Cartridge to cut out the shape for the sentiment which I used the It's your Day Double stamp set for the saying. Notice that must have tape there, yea the silver one, yep its Close to my Heart also, It's our new Silver Shimmer trim. It is a tape! LOVE IT, So pretty and durable. Want to see a really cool Thank you card? I am just loving this new Artiste cartridge!
So my neighbors got word that today is my Birthday and put a sweet card in my mail box. :) Sweet! So I was super excited at their thoughtfulness and the fact that it gave me a reason to make these awesome cards, I made two the same.
When you open the card, inside is this yummy almond joy candy! I then wrote a personalized letter inside expressing my Joy! I used the paper from Avonlea, again, it was super easy to know which papers to use, cux I already know that these all go together! Close to my Heart took all the guesswork out for me. I used the chocolate ink to sponge the edges and stamp the coordinating stamps(that match the paper) onto the white part of the card.
