Heart card

Hi ya! I recently saw a really cute technique done by a fellow consultant and knew right away I needed to try it. I love it, and will be doing it again. Looks hard but is actually easy peasy to do. :) I used our remarkable wreath stamp set with both chocolate and ruby ink.

I really love this card....I also really love the recipent of the card as well......:) Stamps by Close to my Heart clearly are the best.

Goody Bag

Hello Y'all! I finally got to finish this little "goody bag" today. I used the Artiste Cartridge exclusive to Close to my heart to make the bag and the tag. I plan to make more of these and my tags will be at least a half an inch smaller.

Mojo Monday 260

It's Mojo Monday again! yippee!!!! I love when someone gives me ideas! I love taking an idea and making it my own using my own twist. Today I used our La Belle Vie paper pack. This is my favorite of the paper packs that just came out. I suppose it has something to do with the pinks and purples. :)

My Mojo Monday card:

I also used the Jardin stamp set on this and the Perfect Fit-frames stamp set too. Ink used was smokey plum. Works nicely with this paper pack. Im happy with this weeks card.

September Stamps

Are you looking for some inspiration? Close to my Heart has a new book out called Make it from your Heart. It has scrapbook layouts and card layouts giving you lots of ideas.

Today I made a card from an idea in the book. I changed it up a bit, like I always do with recipes. :)

I used our super easy Silver Shimmer Trim, this stuff adds shine and its easy with its adhesive back. You get 5 yds of it! I used our stamp set that you can get for ONLY $5 with a $35 dollar order.

I used sweet leaf, gypsy and Hollyhock ink colors. And I got to use my stamp set enjoy and lower case glamour.

Notice the stamp that I used isnt quite the same. I used what is called the masking technique so that I could get just the frame part and not the with love saying inside. :) Super cool! It gives you even more stamps for your money!

Thankful

Today I made a "Thankful" banner. I was inspired by the project on page 86 of the idea book. I used the Artiste to cut out the banner pieces, posterboard alphabet for the letters. I inked the edges in sorbet and chocolate inks. I cut out the leaves using the Art Philosophy cartridge and stamped it with the leaf stamp that comes with the cartridge.

I think it looks pretty on my mantle. :)

Another Back to School box

I made a bigger back to school box with my Artiste cartridge today! This one is for the momma of the kids I made the little boxes for. :)

The stamp set used was just one of the three sets that come with the cartridge, so I used the Artiste to cut the badge then stamped with black onto it...easy!
